Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited has introduced “EVO CharJi”, the next generation wireless broadband that offers up to 36mbps speed. In Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi, PTCL’s Chaar Ji EVO will enable your device with speed up to 36mbps because it is a Dongle supported product. The coverage areas will increase with time for sure.
Pakistan has been brought up to few of those countries where such high-speed connectivity is available by PTCL through its introduction of next generation wireless broadband.
Early testers confirmed that without any or minimal load on the network, they were able to browse internet and download files at around 20-25mbps on the internet.
PTCL is hoping to provide around 10-20mbps wireless broadband internet to end-users with usual load on the network through its Chaar Ji offer.
PTCL says that in the areas where Chaar Ji coverage isn’t available, the device will transit to Rev.A and Rev.B offers that’ll provide 9.3mbps or 3.1mbps speeds. EVO Rev A network is available in 250+cities nationwide. On MiFi clouds, Chaar Ji of PTCL will support up to 10 simultaneous connections.

Cost of Char Ji EVO Dongle (Rev.A Fallback) is Rs. 3,000 without any free air time while with Rs. 13550, the 3-month free air time will be granted. The cost of Char Ji EVO Dongle (Rev.B) is Rs. 15000 with 4-month free air time.

Monthy rental for Char Ji Gold (50 GB) is Rs. 3500 for both prepaid and postpaid customers while for Char Ji Chrome (25 GB), the charges are Rs. 2000 for both prepaid and postpaid.
Upon volume exhaustion on both prepay and postpay packages, 10GB bucket for Rs. 500 will be accessible.
