Ramadan Moon Sight on 27 May 1st Ramadan on Sunday

Karachi, It is stated that the moon of Ramadan ul Mubarak will be sighted on 30 Shaban 27 May and the sacred month of Ramadan will be started from Sunday, 28 May 2017.

The leading scientist and astronomer of Karachi University, Dr Shahid Qureshi talked with media and said that there are no chances of the sighting of the moon of Ramadan ul Mubarak on 26 May at any part of the country. It is also possible that the Ramadan will also start from Sunday in all other countries of this region. However, the month of Ramadan will be started from 27 May in some Gulf states.

Dr Shahid Qureshi is the director of Institute of Space and Planetary Astro Physics (ISPA) in Karachi University and he said that the sighting of the moon of Ramadan is not possible at any part of the country on 26 May, 29 Shaban and the sighting of the moon is possible on 27 May. The sighting of the moon is also not possible in other countries of this region like India, Bangladesh, Iran, but the moon of Ramadan can be seen in Saudi Arabia on 26 May and the first Ramadan will be on 27 May Saturday. The sighting of the moon is also possible in the countries like Africa and middle parts of America and southern parts on Friday.

He also talked about the birth of the moon of Ramadan and said that birth of the moon will be done at 12:44 am on 26 May. As soon as there will be night of 25 and 26 May, the age of the moon of Ramadan will be 18 hours and 30 minutes at the time to sunset in Karachi and the moon will remain at the height of 9 degree for about 39 minutes. With the presence of moisture and hot weather, the sighting of the moon will not be possible and the sighting of the moon will be cleared on 27 May at the time of sunset in all parts of the country.
