There are reports of passing of a big meteorite from Gilgit and Ghazar. During the passing of meteorite, the surrounding villages became enlighten for few seconds despite night.
Due to speed of meteorite, the sound barrier also broke in the area due to which large explosions were also heard. These explosions were heard from Gilgit to Shandoor top.
So far, there are no reports about falling of meteorite in any area. It should be cleared that broken pieces of stars are known as meteorites.
