On Thursday the Pop singer Rihanna achieved her legal battle with British high street giant Topshop following it sold a T- shirt bearing her picture without primary demanding permission.
3 judges at london’s Apeal Court reinforced a ban on selling the garment after ruling that the cloth retailer had been passing off, without authorization using a personal picture for the purpose of marketing.
Rihanna had allegedly chased for $5 million 4.3 million euro, though that shape was not admitted in the written judgment.
Rihanna the 26 years old who is a Barbadian singer, sold over 150 million albums in the world, she had chased topshop’s parent company Arcadia for the sleeveless T-shirt containing a image which was captured throughout the filming of a 2011 video.
Topshop appealed, with lawyer Geoffrey Hobbs arguing that the item was a “decorated T-shirt” similar to those featuring images of stars such as Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix and Prince.
