In Singapore, such roads have been prepared that emit beautiful light at night to lead the pedestrians. Singapore govt. tries to make the city more beautiful with new acts from time to time due to which it is known as the most advanced Asian country in modernization and inventions. Due to these features, Singapore is given 1^st place in Asia by Global Innovation Index. Under this process, now the two roads of Singapore are converted in to light emitting roads by laying special material on them.

There is a 400 km long road between Singapore’s Chao Chu Kang Road and Upper Bukit Timah Road which is called Rail Corridor. The Singaporean experts have divided this road in 4 parts. There is simple road at one part, there is grass on second part, combination of grass and concrete on third part while Strontium Aluminate is there on the 4^th part of the road which emits beautiful light at night.

Strontium Aluminate absorbs the UV light of sun at day time and emits it at night in the form of light glow. The administration of Singapore has called the citizens to visit the place and give their opinion so that the light emitting roads could be improved.
