In the near future, Samsung’s mobile devices will feature house-made CPU core and displays with 560ppi. For Samsung, the move of CPU core production in house will be a particularly important shift, as the company’s chipsets feature CPU cores licensed from ARM, currently. In two steps, it will be accomplished – first Samsung will develop 64-bit cores based on ARM and then make its own.

During the analyst event, Mobile displays were another hot topic of conversation. Samsung will out RGB AMOLED display with a pixel density of 560ppi, next year. The aforementioned pixel density, points at a display with a 5.25” diagonal coming our way, combined with the targeted WQHD resolution (2560×1440 pixels).

Furthermore in 2015, Samsung will out mobile devices with 4K displays. Those screens will represent a huge leap compared to the 1080p units which are in fashion today, with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels.
