Few years ago, there was an era for flip phones and now Samsung has decided to bring back the same good old design back with its latest technology. This new phone is named Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 which can be seen at the company’s Chinese website.
About the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2
This latest flip phone has Andriod Marshmallow as its OS while its predecessor is Samsung Galaxy Folder that released in 2015. The flagship grade flip phone of the company is G9198 flip phone but the new phone is different from this flagship one. Its releasing date was September 2015.
There are few important changes in the design of the latest phone and its predecessor one. There is a new metallic silver color option along with a long lasting physical keyboard. A solid sports metal body is available for the Folder 2.
The major specs of Folder 2 are 1950 mAh battery for 318 hours of standby, a dual SIM slot, 16 GB internal storage expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card slot, 2 GB of RAM, 1.4 GHz quad core Snapdragon 425 CPU and a 3.8” WVGA screen with an IPS panel.
This smartphone also has a 5MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture and also an 8 MP main camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. It has 160 grams weight and 15.4 mm thickness. 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth are the connectivity options available in the latest flip phone of Samsung.
So far, the company has not released the release date in international market and the price of Flip 2.
