To its galaxy SIII former flagship, Samsung has committed to bringing Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and in a few weeks’ time, the rollout should start. You don’t even have to wait that long as a pre-release version of the Android 4.3 build has just surfaced, if you know your way around flashing a ROM manually.

To work as a daily driver, the beta version is reportedly stable enough, although it may have couple of bugs. Including a new setting menu with tabbed interface as found on more recent Samsung flagships, it brings a number of UI changes. Also, here is a transparent notification bar.

Unfortunately Samsung Knox isn’t available and the majority of the widgets in this build are still using the old design. For the Galaxy SIII, that should change in the final Android 4.3 ROM. So, on the security feature, you don’t have to worry about missing.
