Mumbai: Shraddha Kapoor is now performing in the new coming movie, ‘Haider’. Vishal Bhardwaj is the filmmaker and he felt happy and lucky to become part of the movie. The story of the movie is based on the famous drama of Shakespeare, ‘Hamlet’. The filmmaker has also made the movies on the dramas of Shakespeare, ‘Macbeth’ and ‘Othello’. In this movie, other artists including Tabu, Shahid Kapoor, Irfan and Kay Ksay Menon were also present in this movie along with the actress.
She gave an interview and said that she did not believe that she is the part of the movie, ‘Haider’ of Vishal. She said that it is great experience for her. She thanked the filmmaker as he has given her chance to this great project at the beginning of her career. She said that it was great opportunity for her to work in this movie with the great and experienced actors like Irrfan, Tabu and Kay Kay Menon. In the movie, Shraddha is performing the role of the tragic lover, Ophelia of Hamlet.

She said that Vishal has the abilities to play the movie brilliantly in the Indian setting. She said that she is playing the role of the press reporter in the movie, which was made from Shakespeare dramas, Ophelia and Horatio. She further added that she read the drama of Hamlet in her school life but now she has not remembered it well. When she read the script of the movie, then she remembered all the characters.
She got the success in the song ‘Teri galian’ in ‘Ek Villain’ then she sang the Kashmiri song in ‘Haider’. She played the role of Arisha in the movie, who was the Kashmiri girl. She wanted to know how the kashmiri girls performed and Vishal has helped her. She said that she and Tabu sang the songs separately.
She said that the shooting of the movie, ‘Haider’ will be completed and this movie will be launched in the theatres on October 02 with the movie, Bang Bang of Hrithik Roshan.
