China’s rapidly increasing economy has frustrated USA and European powers while now Chinese people have also got passion of online shopping. On the occasion of single day, the Chinese made a new record by purchasing or over $10 billion in 14 hours and broke the previous year record.

According to a foreign news agency, online shopping company Ali Baba announced superb concession on 11th November on the occasion of single day (for single persons). The people responded highly for this offer and they purchased products of $1 billion in just 8 minutes while they have made a new record of $10 billion shopping in just first 14 hours of the day.

Before that, people purchased products of $9.3 billion in the same day last year through Ali Baba which was also a record at that time. According to Ali Baba, the numbers of purchasers of online shopping have increased 668 million due to which online shopping has increased.

Ali Baba started its “single day scheme” in a very attractive ceremony in which Hollywood star Daniel Craig and Kevin Spacy also participated while the ceremony was shown live. The company said that it efforts proved fruitful and the people broke previous year record by extensive shopping. On the other hand, the online shopping of $6.56 billion was recorded in 5 days during the “Thanks giving day” which is less than the shopping of one day of “single day”.

The company said that it doesn’t buy things directly but act as middleman while its partners used 17 million people, 400,000 delivery trucks, 5,000 ware houses and 2,000 planes but even then it was difficult for them to complete the demand of its customers.

It should be noted that “single day” is celebrated in China on 11th November as an important day while it is given the name due to the digits 11.11 while few people also call this day “Anti-Valentine Day”.
