Now Sony has made plan to leave the PC industry and give concentration to the mobile phone market. Sony has made this unexpected decision keeping in view the changing market trends and conditions.
Now Sony is going to focus its attention on the post PC devices, gaming, imagery and the traditional stronghold and television, but it has lost its grip in this field.

This company has the VAIO brand and it sold this brand to the Japan Industrial Partners for the unannounced amount and now Sony will also help for running the company by investing the fund of 5% of the capital. Sony has also announced that they will cut short 5000 jobs around the globe, which is part of the deal and it will also shirt 250 to 300 employees to the JIP.
Sony started the VAIO brand in 1995 and it has provided the most beautiful & stunning design in the PC market and now it is going away from the company, Sony. Steve Jobs was also wanted to see this beautiful line of PC, which runs on the OS X.
The designing team of the company has also left and after the launching of the VAIO PCs in the market, there will be no other PC in the market launching by Sony.
