In the fifth ODI, Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 2 wickets and achieving the target of 233 in last over. Dinesh Chandimal scored 64 (n.o) and Mendis played the winning stroke and scored 19 (n.o). From Pakistan side, Junaid Khan took 3 while Saeed Ajmal 2 wickets. Captain Misbah-ul-Haq said that it’s disappointing to lose the last match. Last three overs were critical, scoring 260 would be good to defend and fielding was poor. Before that, Sri Lankan bowling restricts Pakistan to 232 runs. In Shaikh Zaid stadium of Abu Dhabi, Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and decided to bat first. He himself remains the top-scorer with 51 runs, while no other batsman could make even 50 and whole team dismissed to a low score of 232.
