Higher Education Commission has made the announcement for the provision of the data bundles to the students of the educational institutes at the cheaper rates. HEC has maintained the collaboration with the mobile operators in order to provide the cheaper internet access to the students for their educational resources and online classes. The universities are asked to establish the committee so that they can address the issues, which the students are facing regarding the online classes during the situation of lockdown and social distancing due to outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic.
HEC has made the collaboration with the vice chancellors of the universities to ensure that every course and lecture is delivered online. The HEC is also working on the training of the teaching faculties to get the technical training so that they can deliver their lectures online. The Commission is also helping the universities to set up their proper online learning systems. If any university does not have the online classes facilities, they should ensure provision of the online classes temporarily.
