The official trailer of the movie, ‘Snowden’ of Oliver Stone has been released. It showed the story of NSA whistleblower, Edward Snowden, in which Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley have performed the leading roles. It will be released under Open Road Films and it will be made on the basis of the true story, which Snowden shared. He told the personal story of polarizing figure and he exposed the shocking illegal surveillance activities, in which the NSA was involved. As he revealed all this, so he became the most wanted men in the world and some people think he is a hero and other think he is a traitor.
The Oscar winner director, Stone has directed this movie and the co-writer is Kieran Fitzgerald and in this movie, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson, Nicholas Cage and Timothy Olyphant have performed the main roles in the movie. Eric Kopeloff, Moritz Borman and Philip Schulz-Deyle are the co-producers of this movie.
This movie was going to release on 25 December 2016, then it was pushed back from the original release date. Then it was decided to release on 13 May but it is expected that it will be released on September 16.
