For admissions to BS, MA and MSC programs, University of Peshawar is planning to start its own testing service similar to NTS test.
The usage of these testing services is also available for admissions in different programs by other universities. It was decided in a meeting participated by head of departments and presided over by university VC Professor Rasul Jan.
Professor Jan said during the meeting that the shortfall of university was zero this financial year due to strong economical steps while during last year 2012-13, it was Rs. 219 million.
He also announced that private business or other job without NOC is not allowed and any employee indulges in this will be answerable along with his head of department.
In the meeting, it was told by director admissions that HEC scholarship amounts will be handed over to the candidates after university provision while 355 students have applied for these scholarships.
