Through QR based payments, you can make payments on checkout of any physical or online store by scanning a QR code. This system of payment is not only secure but also makes it easier and faster to pay for anything you buy.
mVisa is the name of QR code payment system by Visa and currently it is available in Kenya, Rwanda and India and now it will soon be available in the following countries.

You can use an app on your smartphone to pay online merchants securely with Easypaisa service and it is quite similar to this. Usually, payment is made by entering sensitive information of credit/debit card but only a QR code has to be scanned in mVisa service. Through this, you will pay your payment easily and quickly while there is also no need to enter sensitive information at any online store.
In the same way, you can send and receive payments. In order to use this service, you have to link your Visa debit/credit card with mVisa application.

Mahanagar Gas Limited is a gas company in India that uses QR cods on its bills. The customers only have to scan the code to pay the bills. You don’t have to visit a bank or using online banking to pay your bill due to this service.
