Waheed Murad 76 Birthday Anniversary

Lahore, the 76^th birthday anniversary of the Chocolate hero, Waheed Murad is being celebrated today. He got the Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Life Time Achievement awards.

Waheed Murad was born on 02 October 1932 at Sialkot and he completed his education from Karachi Grammar School and SM Arts College Karachi. He did his master in English from University of Karachi. He was the only son of leading film distributor, Nisar Murad and husband of Salma Murad. He started his film career in 1959 and till his death in 1983, he was considered the best actor of the film world in Pakistan. He was the film actor, producer and script writer at a time.

He performed in various best movies including ‘Dil mera Dharkan teri’, ‘Heera aur Pather’, ‘Armaan’, ‘Andleeb’, ‘Mastana Mahi’, ‘Insaniat’, ‘Dever Bhabi’ and many more. He performed in different movies in which 115 Urdu, 8 Punjabi and one Pashto movie. he was died on 23 November 1983 at the age of 45 years.
