Warid Announces Start of 4G LTE Service in September
Warid Telecom has already announced for the launching of the 4G, which is now finally decided to install it during September. It has been confirmed by the Warid Telecom that this 4G LTE service will be provided in the country.
There are some of the customers, who are still waiting for the launching of the 4G LTE and Warid has confirmed yet that the 4G LTE will be launched in the market in any date during September 2014. In the press advertisement in first week of May, Warid clearly announced for the launch of the 4G LTE in the country but the regulator asked Warid not to announce their 4G plans. The regulators did not want to make Zong unhappy, as Zong has already invested huge amount of US210 million dollars for getting the 4G license. Warid has its own existing license for the launching of the 4G network.
Then Warid went into the stealth mode due to constant pressure from regulator and it continued the efforts to get the goals of launching the 4G network and kept working on it without giving any confirmation.
Warid Telecom affirmed the launching of the plan for the investment of the 400 million dollars in the market of Pakistan for the launching of the 4G network. Hence, it closed the working with Ericsson for the rolling out its network.
Now Warid has finally decided to go into the public with the launching of this 4G LTE network, which will be launched during September.
