Warid Telecom is claiming to have performed exceptionally well since January 2013, despite a possible acquisition. In fact in the month of October, the company achieved the highest ever sales for postpaid segment, as per Warid.

Warid is performing in a situation when company’s future, especially for the employees, is critical and uncertain, which is interesting to note.
Warid sold over 30,000 postpaid connections during the months of September and October 2013, according to officials.
It should be kept in mind that after Mobilink, Warid owns the second highest Postpaid base in the country.
It appears that postpaid segment is on a special focus for telcos. For instance, during last three months only, Ufone has reportedly sold 66,000 postpaid connections. Ufone said that each month during July, August and September 2013, it sold 22K connections.

However as the finest network, Warid enjoys the advantage of being acknowledged. Company is widely considered to be the best in terms of quality of network, despite limited coverage.
Warid said that on IVR, SMS, MMS and GPRS platforms, it offers product portfolio of over 80 value added services. Some of them were introduced in Pakistan for the first time.
The company also worked to enhance customer services network and improved its distribution channels in the country, allowing it to offer exceptional customer services and wide accessibility across Pakistan.
