Xiaomi has launched the first smart phone, Mi 5c and now the company has announced the upgraded version of the handset, Redmi 4, which is the Redmi 4X with the high speed LTE and performance boost. The rest of the phone is same, which you can expect from Redmi series of Xiaomi. The handset has the 5 inch display on front with HD resolution and it has 2.5D curved glass to give pleasant look, when you handle the phone.
Xiaomi says that this is all metal phone and it has received the design to upgrade along with performance boost. The smart phone is launched in the market with infrared emitter and the users can control their TVs, ACs and various other remote controlled equipments.
Xiaomi Redmi 4Xis provided with octa-core Snapdragon 435 and it is clocked at 1.4 GHz and there are two RAM/storage combinations with 2 GB / 16 GB or 3 GB / 32 GB combos.
There is camera on the back of the handset and it is 13 MP resolution with the LED flash and on the front side, there is 5 MP camera. The users will get Phase Detection Autofocus with the rear camera look like original Redmi 4. The battery has the capacity of 4100 mAh with the specs. The smart phone is supported with LTE downlink speeds of 300 Mbps and uplink of 100 Mbps. There is optional dual-SIM compatibility with microSD card slot to use the Hybrid slot. The fingerprint scanner is also residing on the back of the handset.
The handset, Redmi 4X Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8.0 is out of the box.
The handset, Redmi 4X will be provided to the users in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold and Matte Black colors. The prices of these models of the handset are started at the incredibly low at $100 for 16 GB model or $130 for 32 GB model. The phone is currently available in China and in the months, it is expected that this smart phone will be available in other countries. This smart phone has the decent upgrade over the newly launched, Redmi 4A in Pakistan.
