Karachi, Pakistani movies did not try to get the benefit from the ban on the Indian movies. Various Pakistani movies were released this year and they failed to bring the fans in the cinema houses to watch these movies.

There are 28 Urdu movies, 9 Punjabi movies and 10 Pashto movies, which were released this year in which the movie, Actor-in-law was declared the most successful movie of this film industry. The movies like ‘Zindagi Kitni Haseen hai’ and ‘Ho Mann Jahan’ and ‘Janan’ have done the wonderful business on the box office. There are some other Pakistani movies like ‘Lahore Se Aagay’, Ho Mann Jahan’, ‘Maalik’, ‘Bachana’, ‘Dobara Phir Se’, ‘Jeevan sathi’, ‘8969’, ‘Hijrat’, ‘Mah Mir’, ‘Hotel’, ‘Sawal 7 Crore Dollar ka’, ‘Ishq Positive’, ‘Revenge of the Worthless’, ‘Dance kahani’, ‘Teri Meri Love Story’, ‘Abdullah’, ‘Aksband’, ‘gardaab’, ‘Oye Kuch Kar Guzro’, ‘Salute’, Sayae Khudai Zuljilal’, ‘Teen Bahadur’, ‘Revenge of Baba Alam’, ‘Chan Chaudhary’, ‘Khushi’, ‘Haider Gujjar’, ‘82’, ‘Three Stupid’, ‘Best of Luck’, ‘dashkara’ and ‘Shamoo Tangay Wali’ are included, which released this year. The Pashto movies are included with ‘Levay Pakhtun’, ‘Jashan’, ‘Ghulam’, ‘Ganda Garina Num’, ‘Badmashi Bay Manay’, ‘’Raja’, ‘Mohabbat Karlevea’, ‘Noday’, ‘Khair Yar Nasha Day’, ‘Badmashi Bin Nam and ‘Da Pagal Yam’ are the new movies, which were also released this year.

The Urdu movies got the success, which is not more than 20 to 25% and most of the Punjabi movies also did not get the reasonable success on the box office. The Pashto movies got success than the movies of the last year. What will be the future of the Urdu movies in the film industry of Pakistan in 2017 as most of the Pakistani cinema houses started display of the Indian movies and the Pakistani film makers also did not plan to provide the movies to the viewers and it will create different problems for the film industry.
