Uber Launches A Delivery Tech Solution Uber Connect In Pakistan

Uber has started its worldwide delivery operations in various countries like Egypt, Australia, Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. and for the company has launched the delivery tech solution Uber Connect in Pakistan. Uber has been providing an aid to the drivers severely affected by COVID-19 pandemic and fell in to the financial crises. They are now provided with a best service to boost up their income and to meet their financial needs.

Uber offers two services, one the users can send a package to their loved ones and the second is the beneficial for drivers and riders that is a delivery service for the users. For providing the facility, Uber Connect provide a friendly interface to perform all respective operations.

According to General Manager Uber Pakistan, Saad Naveed Pall:

“Pakistan is among a handful of countries across the Middle East and Africa to launch Uber Connect, based on the success of our delivery service earlier this year. We are proud to be able to use our technological expertise and innovation to design new services that not only bring convenience to the users but also offer better economic opportunities for drivers. The launch of Uber Connect is a part of our continued efforts to keep functioning in the new normal while keeping our communities safe, and we will continue to move forward and evolve with the changing consumer trends.”

Currently, Uber Connect is available in three major cities of Pakistan, Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The users can download the Uber Connect App for operations they need. The sending package limit is under15 kg in weight and cost wise under 3,000 rupees. Senders can also ask couriers to purchase groceries, laundry pick-up, or other small items on their behalf via Uber Connect. The package must be sealed securely for a successful and comfortable delivery.
