Airport Checking New Process

Dubai, now the check in process at the airports will be completed within 15 seconds and the passengers do not need to stand in the long queue and wait for the turn to get their checked in.

According to Arab media, the latest technology will be introduced at the Dubai international airport and with the help of this latest technology, the check in process will be completed within 15 seconds. This technology and check in process will help to make the transportation of the passengers quick. On the first day of the Gaitics 37 technology show in the World Trade Center, the officials of the General Directorate of Residents and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) of Dubai told about the smart tunnel technology to the participants. The Assistant General Manager of the department told that these smart tunnels are the future of the passport control in Dubai.

He further added that this technology is not available anywhere in the world. The smart tunnel is being tried in Dubai for the first time, in which the biometric system and face identification technology is installed in it. The passenger has to pass through it and this system does the remaining work. He also told that the passenger does not need to show his passport because the technology installed in this tunnel identified the face and it brings out the bio data from it. So the check in process takes such time, which the passenger takes to pass through this tunnel, which means only 15 minutes.

Airport Checking New Process

GDRFA is making contact with the Emirates Airline to get this technology. The technology of eye pupil identification is also used in these smart tunnels. First the passenger has to stand in front of the tunnel then he enters in it for the face identification. He crosses the tunnel within few seconds and during this time, the verification of his particulars is completed automatically. There is no need of the human interruption to stamp on the passport or for other work.

The tunnel has white color and the digital floor has the green color in this tunnel. As soon as the passenger is passed through it, the color of the floor is turned into red color, which shows that the check in process is completed. The assistant general also told that this project is in the initial stages and they will install it in the airport and they will check and examine it that what improvement can be brought in it.

The Tesla electric cars will also be included in this project, which will provide the facility to take the passengers to the airport and during the journey, the passenger will provide his all details to the airport officials through his smart phone. Through this car, the detail of the passenger and the weight of his luggage will be collected and he will be given the boarding pass in his car. When the passenger reaches at the airport, his luggage will be passed through this system automatically. The passenger will have to pass through the smart tunnel and after that he will board on the plane and his precious time will be saved.
