Ufone and Mobilink has announced to increase 5 paisa for balance inquiry and the news is that other companies like Zong, Warid and Telenor will be doing this very soon.
According to Ufone the new balance inquiry charges will apply from 25th of May while no date has been announced by the Mobilink regarding the increase in inquiry charges. Increase from other operators is also expected very soon.
The rate charged for Balance Inquiry will be 20 paisa excluding taxes and 24 paisa including taxes after announcement of this increase.
This idea of charging money on Balance Inquiry was first introduced in July 2009, it is for the reminder.
