Financial Coverage
The DAAD Helmut Schmidt 2020 scholarship in Germany is the fully funded scholarships for the foreign students and it will cover following expenses:
Scholarship of Monthly 850 €
Contributions to health insurance in Germany
Round Trip Appropriate Travel Allowance
Study and research subsidy
Monthly rent subsidy where applicable,
Allowances for spouses and/or children, where applicable
The candidates will have to cover 6 months German language course from April 2020 to September 2020 and the language course is offered to the students at the selected institutes in Germany and they are not usually provided at the University of selected MA programs. The language program is compulsory for those students, who attend the master degree course being taught in English.
The special tutoring is offered to the scholarship holders at their host institutions, which are financed by DAAD. The scholars are invited to take part in various networking events. The DAAD scholarship holders in Helmut Schmidt programs are exempted from the tuition fees.
Eligibility Criteria & Daad Scholarship Requirements
You should have completed bachelor degree or do you have the bachelor degree (16 years).
DAAD Helmut Schmidt scholarship is offered to the graduates in Social Sciences, Political Science, Law, Economics and Public Administration.
The students should belong to Africa, Central and Latin America, Asia, Middle East countries and from Ukraine. (See list of countries)
