The social media giant started to implement the facial recognition technology to inform you if your photos are uploaded on the Facebook by others. If someone uploads your photo, then Facebook will notify you. The new setting is going to upload live for the users across Pakistan.

Facebook has implemented the facial recognition years ago and it was used to suggest tags on the photos that you upload. If you upload the group photo, the tool would give the suggestion to tag people in photo recognizing the faces automatically. This option lets the people tag in your photos easily. Now Facebook has introduced the new technology by helping to identify the photos of yours that have not been uploaded by you.
The facial recognition tech of Facebook will now do the following of you:
- You need to find the photos you are in but they have not been tagged.
- You need to protect your photos from other. When someone else uses your photo as profile picture, then it will be notified to you.
- Share with people the visual impairments that is in the photo or video. If the information will be given, then audio will be generated.

How to Enable or Disable Facial Recognition Technology on Facebook
This technology is not new and now this technology is available to the Pakistani users and now this setting is on. You should follow these steps if you want to change it, if you are not feeling comfortable with Facebook analyzing the photos.
- Go to Settings,
- Go to More,
- Tap Privacy Shortcuts,
- Click More Settings,
- Click Facial Recognition,
- Tap on the option Do you want Facebook to be able to recognize you in photos and videos?
- Select Yes if you want to enable and No if you want to disable this option.
