HEC Fully Funded Scholarships for Sri Lankan Students

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has declared the ‘Allama Iqbal Scholarships’ for as many as 1000 students belong to Sri Lanka so that they can complete their education in best higher educational institutions of Pakistan. HEC Fully Funded Scholarships for Sri Lankan Students. The scholarships will be offered to the Sri Lankan students under Pak-Sri Lanka Higher Education Cooperation Program.

The scholarship under this project is comprised of the full tuition fee to study in Pakistani universities including accommodation allowance, study allowance, book allowance and one time return air ticket. The sources said that these scholarships will cover over next five years and it will provide the wonderful opportunity for 1000 Sri Lankan students to visit Pakistan and they will pursue undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree programs in Engineering Science, Basic and Natural Sciences and Social Sciences.

HEC Announces Fully Funded Scholarships for Sri Lankan Students

The main purpose to start this program is to promote the effective exchange of knowledge and better understanding of culture and tradition among the students of  Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Under the hood of this program, the selected candidates will study in top ranked universities of Pakistan and they will learn about Pakistani society and values and they will get leadership skills, and they will help to education the Pakistani students and community groups of the country and their culture.

The provision of Allama Iqbal Scholarships is the part of internationalization initiative of HEC to encourage the international students to carry out their study in Pakistan. The female candidates are also encouraged to apply for HEC scholarships and they should note that the last date to apply for the scholarship program is 15 May.
