The Huawei Ascend mate 2 4G is now official after several leaks. The phablet updates the chipset with more processing power and faster connectivity but keeps the 6.1” 720p screen.
The Ascend Mate 2 4G features 2GB RAM and a Snapdragon chipset with four CPU cores clocked at 1.6GHz. With the cuxtom Emotion UI2.0 from Huawei, the phablet will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

With 1080p video recording, the camera was upgraded to a 13MP shooter. With 1.4µm pixels, there’s an impressive 5MP, f/2.4 front-facing camera. Along with microSD card, the storage has been doubled to 16GB.
From the 3G of the original, the connectivity goes to Cat. 4LTE. 4050mAh battery is still present at the phone, also with the option to charge other phones.

From 9.9mm thickness, Huawei has slim down the Ascend Mate 2 4G to 9.5mm and bezels are also bit thinner. Now it weighs to 202g from 198g.
