International Olympic Committee has once again warned Pakistani government that if they do not abide by the rules and regulations of International Olympic Committee then they will consider the cancellation of the membership of Pakistan.

The government of Pakistan has written a letter to the International Olympic Committee to know the legal position of Pakistan Olympic Association. The IOC has opted that National Olympic Committee, working under the presidency of Arif Hassan is the actual and legal Olympic Association, which is working under the charters of International Olympic Committee and its elections were conducted under the supervision of IOC and OCA during February last year. It is also mentioned in the letter that POA is authorized to send the players in the Olympic Games, Olympic Youth Games, OCA Games and such other games.
IOC has requested that misunderstandings should not be created and government sports authorities should work with POA otherwise the membership of Pakistan will be cancelled and their players cannot participate in the international events.
