Actually a monster hit: “Jurassic World” over the weekend as it is released, it managed to gather in $208.8 million at the North American box office, two percent more than anticipated on Sunday and enough to be listed in Hollywood’s record books as the biggest opening ever, Universal Picture mentioned on Monday.

“Marvel’s The Avengers,” was the previous record holder which managed to gather $207.4 million over its primary weekend in the year 2012. (A bit of cold comfort for Marvel: “The Avengers” yet listed No. one following adjusting for ticket price rise, of $213.7 million. However Hollywood record maintainers do not make such modification.
Universal mentioned “Jurassic Park” retailed an additional $315.3 million international, or three percent more than anticipated on Sunday. The relative newcomer Colin Trevorrow has directed this movie and the producer of this movie is Steven Spielberg.
