Famous actress and model Mahira Khan has also showed her willingness to work in Bollywood. Model and actress Mahira Khan went to India this month where her famous TV drama “Hamsafar” is on-air from an India TV channel and like Pakistan; it is also quite famous in India also.
Mahira Khan told while talking to media that it is very nice to see that Pakistani TV dramas are appreciated in India. It was a huge surprise for her that Indian people are aware of her and other Pakistani TV actors. Drama “Humsafar” is also famous in India like Pakistan and now as Pakistan has got a big market of India so now we should took advantage of that by enhancing our quality. Pakistani TV dramas are already famous in India but now a TV channel has been opened to show these dramas.
It will help people of both countries to know their culture. Mahira Khan said that she will work in Bollywood if a quality project of a good banner is offered to her.
On replying a question about working of Pakistani actors in Bollywood, the actress said that it is a pleasing thing and we’re praying for them. She said she’ll not perform anything that is shameful for her and Pakistan. She said she’s thankful to Shoaib Mansoor who gave her a chance to participate in his film and it was a successful experience for her.
