Mobilink and VimpelCom, its parent company, have introduced a self care customer service called #Mobilinkcare after developing partnership with microblogging service Twitter with over 320 million monthly active users while it is first such service in Pakistan.

VimpleCom on Mobilink’s platform has taken this initiative with its 13 business units which will enable the subscribers to get answers to their basic inquiries about services of Mobilink directly through Twitter Direct Messages in inbox. For example a tweet with hashtag #balance to @Mobilink will show the current balance on the Direct Message when the customers want to know their balance.
Mobilink VP Marketing Asif Aziz said that Mobilink believes in continuous innovation in customer care services and in their product offerings. In an every evolving mechanism, they also try to ensure successful answer to the subscriber queries in least amount of time.
Mobilink will get various benefits through this milestone partnership with Twitter and it is a sign of a game changer in the industry. This service will assist them to increase their latest offerings, reduce existing traffic on their customer care center and allow them to increase engagement between customer and the brand, according to Aziz.
He also told about roadmap of #Mobilink and said that in the coming months, they will try to bring their bundle subscription and recharge facilities on the platform of Twitter. Mobilink will become the third telecom to start such unique service for its customers after the launch of Mobilinkcare on Twitter.
