National Geographic has released several award winning pictures of climate change and global warming this year which are not only masterpiece but also presents the dangerous effects of this terrible climate change.

Detail is given below every picture. In this competition by National Geographic, photographers from around the world have sent their photos.

The first picture is about the destruction of forests of ‘Zagros’ in Turkey. The unrestricted cutting of these trees has reduced the Zagros forest area of Turkey up to 30%.

Glaciers of Iceland are melting very quickly. According to experts, the melting of Iceland glaciers has increased with extraordinary speed after 2000. According to the photographer, the glaciers of Iceland have reduced 12% in less than 15 years.

This picture is from the Ganges river of Indian area of Western Bengal where small islands are disappearing under water very quickly. The borders of river are increasing which is reducing land area.

Melting of ice on hemispheres is creating problems for snow bear. A dead bear can be seen in this picture who died due to old age or lack of food. The experts think that he died due to lack of food because his teeth are like a young bear. Global warning has endangered existence of snow bears.

This picture is from Islampur area of Bangladesh’s city Jamalpur. A woman is seen crossing river through a ship made of bamboo sticks. Bangladesh is already facing natural disasters like cyclones, floods etc.

This picture shows the effects of human greed and non essential use of petroleum on humans and earth. Dangerous results of human mistakes are evident on human skin.
