Google has provided the necessary features to the web browsers for offline users. Google has already added the new feature to Chrome last year to allow the users to download the web pages. They can view these pages without the need of internet connectivity. When this feature got success, then the search engine giant has announced another bunch of new additions so that they can improve the offline browsing experience. They can look at the new features for offline users.
Download Link
This option is provided to the users to save any webpage by long pressing on link and select the ‘Download link’ from menu that is appeared on the screen. This will save the page for offline viewing and it can be accessed at any time till you delete it yourself.
Download Later and Offline Badge
If you open the website and run into the familiar ‘You are offline’ page and you can simply tap on the ‘Download Link Later’. Google Chrome will download the web page, whenever they go back to the online. It is easy to get the saved offline web pages. The users need to open the new tab on Chrome and scroll down to ‘Downloads’. They will find the pages saved offline tagged with gray ticked badge. The users will also find the updates for Google Chrome on Android.
Built-in Adblocker Coming Soon
It has already been reported by media that most used browser in the world, Google Chrome will get built-in adblocker in the future. When you use these new offline features, they can download the latest version of Chrome for the mobile OS of their own choice.
