New Zealand apologizes for controversial music on Amir’s arrival

People haven’t forgotten the match fixing by M Amir and it is quite evident from Pakistan tour of New Zealand. When Amir came to bat in the third T20 then the announcer started the music of opening of cash register and now New Zealand Cricket Board has apologized for this music and scolded the stadium announcer of Westpac Cricket Ground.

According to a cricket site, experienced announcer of Westpac Cricket Ground Mark ran the voice of opening of “cash register” when fast bowler M Amir came to bat. But after complained from Pakistan, CEO of New Zealand Cricket David White apologized from Pakistan on this act.

David White said that this music was inappropriate and insulting and they have expressed regret to Pakistani team management and assured them that it will not happen again.

M Amir was not warmly welcomed in New Zealand while few people hooted on Amir at his arrival in Eden Garden. Pakistan team has confirmed that a person showed money and jewelry to M Amir during first ODI match and M Hafeez informed the security of Pakistani team about that person. The security team threatened that person for taking him out of the ground after which he avoided this act.
