Nokia to Bring new Phones in Pakistan Soon

Nokia is returning to Pakistan and is hopeful about getting a large share in local market. In the local market, the newly announced smartphones of the company will be released in the 2nd quarter of 2017 and Nokia is quite optimistic about their release in the country.

Recently in a media talk, Vice President HMD Global Middle East & North Africa, Per Ekman said that Pakistan has strategic importance for the company due to its interest in the new phones of Nokia company.

One feature phone (Nokia 3310) and three smartphones (Nokia 3, 5 and 6) will be released during this process. HMD Group is releasing these handsets in collaboration of Nokia and Foxconn in order to revive the giant company.

In December 2016, Nokia 6 was launched in China while it took just few weeks for the device to get more than 1 million pre-sale registrations in the country. Soon after its launch in the market, the handsets were sold in record 23 seconds.

Data shows that 86% buyers were from millennial age which shows that technology know er population is especially going after these handsets.

VP HMD Global said that China is the biggest market but these new handsets also received positive response from around the world by customers looking for quality handsets.

This device is different in the market due to its body material, engineering and design. It has a durable body due to the use of aluminum while Nokia 6 has replaced the previous Windows platform with the latest Android 7.

It was also told by Per Ekman that Nokia 3310 has been introduced in the whole world due to demand from customers. A survey was held by HMD Global about the 3310 and it received a very positive response from all around the world.

He was hopeful that the return of Nokia brand with Android OS and the same higher build quality will also be received enthusiastically in Pakistan also.

New Nokia phones will be start launching in the next quarter and they will be launched in phases. In the coming time, prices for the Nokia phones will be available.
