Guyana, Pakistan played the second one day international match against West Indies and Pakistani team beat West Indian team by 74 runs and they leveled the series by 1-1. The second ODI between Pak vs WI was played at Providence stadium and West Indies won the toss and invited Pak team to do the batting. Pak eleven scored 282runs on the loss of 5 wickets in which the great ton of Babar Azam is also included. West Indies team responded with 208 runs for all out in just 44.5 overs and Pakistan won the second ODI by 74 runs.
Pakistan started the innings and Kamran Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad started the inning and Shahzad was out for 5 runs. Kamran Akmal could score only 17 runs. Shoaib Malik also scored only 9 runs and Sarfaraz Ahmed scored only 26 runs. Muhammad Hafeez struggled for 32 runs on just 50 runs. Babar Azam played well and he made his fifth century and he remained not out on 125 runs. He made 99 runs in partnership with Imad Waseem, who also scored 43 runs and reached the total to 282 runs for five wickets. Shannon Gabriel got 2 wickets and Alzarri Joseph, Davindra Joseph and Ashley Nurse claimed one wicket each from West Indian side.
West Indies started their innings by Evin Lewis and Chadwick Walton and both the players tried to play aggressively but Walton was out after making 13 runs on the ball of Junaid Khan. Lewis scored only 10 runs and he became target of Muhammad Aamer. Shai Hopes, Keiron Powell, Jonathan Carter and Jason Muhammad scored 15, 11, 12 and 1 run respectively. The main scoring batsmen were Jason Holder and Ashley Nurse, who scored 68 and 44 runs respectively. Hassan Ali took five wickets and Muhammad Hafeez got two wickets while Junaid Khan, Muhammad Aamer and Shadab Khan claimed one wicket each. Babar Azam was declared the main of the match due to his wonderful century.
