Pakistan Railways decided to run five special trains at different routes in order to facilitate the passengers on the eid. Pak Railways Operates 5 Eid Trains on Different Routes.
The Federal Minister for Railways announced the operation of five different trains at the time of addressing the press conference. He also said that his ministry will remove Karachi Circular Railway in 15 days and it will make all out efforts to remove the encroachments in one month. The minister also said that he will visit Sukkur on Wednesday in order to check the railway track. He also said that PC-1 of Main Line 1 track is ready to go and Pakistan Railways has made the decision to establish Railway Constructions Pakistan Limited (RAILCOP).
The minister further added that Jaffar Express, Khyber Mail, Pak Business Express and Tezgam are allowed to stop over Lahore cantt station in order to decrease the burden on the main Lahore railway station. He disclosed that 20 out of 30 trains were running on profit and only four trains are running in loss. Pak Railways has earned Rs.5 billion through 30 trains in eight months.
