Pakistan Robotics Team Participate in International Event

Rawalpindi, The First Lego League International Robotics Competition is going to be conducted on April 24, 2013 in the United States of America. Pakistan Robotics team will also participate in this competition. For this purpose, Pakistan Robotics team has left for America on April 23, 2013.

This is the first time that Pakistan Robotics team is participating in the World Festival. Pakistan robotics team took part in the regional championship title out of 20 teams. These competitions were held for the qualifying round of the International Robotics competition in which Pakistan defeated 13 other teams and qualified for the International competition. The competitions were held across the world in which about 20,000 teams participated in the competition out of which only 85 teams were selected for the international robotics competition.

The international FFL festival will be started from April 24, 2013 and it will be continued till April 27, 2013 in Saint Louis, Missouri. Pakistan Robotics Teams will be comprised of the players including Vice Captain, Muhammad Rafay Arshad, Umar Khalique and Abdullah Gulraiz and their coach Saeed Akhtar. Previously, it was decided that seven players would participate in the International Robotics Competition but later only three were selected for the competition.
