PCB Pak Squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2017

Lahore, Pakistan Cricket Board has declared the names of the ICC Champions Trophy squad to play the matches, which will be played during June in England. The first match will be played on 01 June but Pakistani team will play their first match against India on 4 June. Pakistan will face South Africa on 07 June in their second match and they will play their final match against Sri Lanka on 12 June. All the matches are crucial and Pakistani team will have to perform well to lead in the mega event.
Sarfaraz Ahmed will be captain of Pakistani national cricket team while other players are Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Hafeez, Faheem Ashraf, Hassan Ali, Shadab Khan, Wahab Riaz, Imad Waseem, Ahmed Shahzad, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Azhar Ali and Junaid Khan. Kamran Akmal was given the chance to play well against West Indies but he failed to repeat his performance and he is dropped from the team. Asif Zakir and Muhammad Asghar are also not part of the national team, which is proceeding to England to play the ICC Champions Trophy.
