The company shared the information that hundreds of thousands of the students were using Hangouts Meet video conference and Google classroom to carry on the remote schooling amid the closures of the schools due to coronavirus threats. The new features of this company allow the individuals and businesses to hold their meetings with about 250 participants per call and the live streaming to 100,000 viewers within the given domain. They also have the ability to record and save the calls, which are made to Google Drive.

The G Suite and G Suite for Education customers can avail these premium features and they are added with G Suite Basic, Business, and Non profit tiers. The tech giant charges $13 extra per user per month and this service will be free up to 1 July.

There is another software, which is helping in the promotion of the virtual workplace business and it also provides the free tools, which is GoToMeeting by LogMeIn. The company has shared the details that it has been significant spike in traffic from various regions of the world.

LogMeIn has made the declaration for ‘Free Emergency Remote Work Kits for Health Care Providers, Municipalities, Educational Institutes and Non Profit Organizations, which was started from 28 February.

The emergency kit will be provided without cost for 3 months and it will be added with the solutions for meetings and video conferencing, IT support, webinars, virtual events and management of remote employee devices and app along with the provision of the remote access to the devices in different locations.
