On 6th February 2017, the trophy of PSL will be unveiled. In the launching ceremony in Dubai, captains from all the 5 participating teams will appear and press conference will be held later for question answer session. This trophy is prepared by using 50,000 crystals.
According to reports, 9th February 2017 is the starting date of Pakistan Super League while the trophy unveiling ceremony will be held in Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 6th February 2017. PSL Governing Council’s head Najam Sethi and captains of all the 5 PSL teams will be present in this ceremony while the details about the tournament will be provided in the press conference later. There are reports that the trophy is decorated with 50,000 crystals while the top of the trophy has a shooting star. The trophy was completed in 4 months. Patriotism is evident in the design of this trophy while it is called ‘spirit trophy’.
Apart from main star, there is a moon and several other stars in the trophy which shows that PSL is provide opportunity for rising of new talent while players from around the globe can express their abilities through PSL. The trophy will also be presented in Lahore if the final match is played there.
