To promote the local sports scene, PUBG Mobile is bringing a special tournament for Pakistani players. PUBG Mobile Pakistan Challenge 2020 will start this month with a prize pool of Rs. 10,000 to 10,000 for the winning team.
You can register for the tournament on the PUBG mobile website in Pakistan, where details about you and your team will be requested. Please note that the last date for registration is November 15, 2020, which is next Sunday. Once you register, you will be shown all the details of the tournament matches.
Tournament stages and important dates
Firstly, all registered teams have to qualify phase of the game where they have to complete 15 classic matches. Out of these, your 10 best games will be selected and 265 teams will be selected based on their scores. The qualifiers phase will start on November 16 and will continue till November 22.
The teams will then advance to the online playoffs between December 2-6. The teams will be divided into 16 groups that will compete in 16 matches in Round 1. A total of 7 teams (112 teams in total) from each group will be selected for Round 2, with a slight twist.
In addition to the 112 qualifying teams from Round 1, Round 2 will also bring in 10 additional teams from Round 1, with the most casualties. But the real turning point here will be that 6 professional teams will also be invited for the competition.
Semi-finals and grand finals
Out of these 128 teams, only 64 teams will be able to enter the semi-finals. The semi-finals will once again divide the teams, but in 20 matches in 4 groups. Only 16 of the top teams from these groups will advance to the grand final, which will result in a grand prize as well as a trophy being knocked out by the winning team.
