The Head of Samsung Mobile Division for Pakistan & Afghanistan, Mr Farid Ullah Jan has said that Samsung introduced the flagship device, Galaxy SIII in the country from January 2012 and now they have sold about 110,000 units of this smart phone which is an average sale in the country.
He further added that they had fixed the rate of the smart phone, Samsung Galaxy S III was Rs.62,000 at the time of its launching and now its price is around Rs.53,000 in Pakistan. This smart phone is considered the best android smart phone in the country. Now the company is going to replace this smart phone with the new and latest smart phone, Galaxy S4. This new and latest smart phone will be introduced in Pakistan market during the first week of May, 2013.
Although the purchasing power of the customers is reduced and 3G is also unavailable yet Pakistan mobile phone industry is flourishing very quickly. Samsung has the market value for its smart phone so it had already sold about 50 million Samsung galaxy smart phone S III across the world.
