Karachi, Pakistan Cricket Board Women Wing has announced the national team for the tour of UK, which will be held next month. The selection committee of the board has made no major changes in the teams and most of the players are given opportunity to show their performance. The National women cricket team showed poor performance during ICC Women World Cup earlier this year. The National women cricket team finished the world cup tour in India in last number and there should be major changes in the team.

The board has announced the 14-member squad of the cricket team in which they retained Sana Mir as captain and Bismah Maroof as vice captain. The team management will also remain the same. During the tour, Pakistan team will play two one-day international matches and two twenty20 match with England and a one-day international and two twenty20 matches against Ireland. Then Pakistani national women team will play the ICC Women World twenty20 qualifiers tournament, which will be started from July 23, 2013.

The National women cricket team will comprise of Sana Mir, Bismah Maroof, Nida Rashid, Rabia Shah, Batool Fatima, Nain Fatima Abidi, Qanita Jalil, Javeria Wadood, Javaria Rauf, Sadia Yousaf, Asmayia Iqbal, Irum Javed, Nahida Bibi and Sumaiya Siddiqui.
