According to the media reports, Sania reached London to play the Wimbledon tennis tournament, the third grand slam of the year. Unfortunately, she was defeated in the first stage of this mega event. After getting defeat in the event, she was depressed but her husband was in good mood after winning the mega event of ICC Champions trophy against India recently and he consoled her wife on her defeat in this event. They also met with various players like Azhar Mahmood, Zaheer Khan and Ashish Nehra and various other players.
