The Corona Virus is rapidly spreading in various countries of the world. A few deadly virus cases have been confirmed in Pakistan. Recently the deadly virus was found and confirmed in two persons in Sindh. The Minster of Education, Government of Sind, Saeed Ghani decided to keep close all educational institutions in the Province on February 27 and 28. The Government of Balochistan has also decided to stop all educational activities for three week in the whole province. The initiative was taken after the confirmation of two corona virus cases in Sindh and Islamabad.
The education department, Government of Balochistan advised the administration of all public and private schools, colleges; madrassahs to keep the institutions close until 15th March 2020. The government decided to close all the educational institutions in the province to secure the children from deadly corona virus. Due to vacations the Matric Exams also affected in the province and have been postponed to next schedule. According to the order issued for Matric Exams in the Province.
“Matriculation Examination under Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has also being postponed and the remaining papers will be organized in due course of time”
The Provincial Education Minister strictly ordered to close the institutions in a video message. “The ongoing examinations of Grade 9 and Matriculation are also suspended. We want to keep our children safe. This step has only been taken as a safety measure and no one needs to panic”
