State Bank of Pakistan Internship 2018
State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation Summer Internship 2018 manages the Paid Summer Internship 2018 in State Bank of Pakistan every year to provide the learning opportunities to the energetic and talented students of the HEC recognized universities and institutes of the country. State Bank of Pakistan as part of the corporate social responsibility offers the structured and organized internship programs for the candidates to increase their understanding of the central banking functions and help to built the image of State Bank of Pakistan as the ‘employer of choice’. The State Bank of Pakistan six week summer internship program is offered to the students every year to meet the needs of the students.
State Bank of Pakistan invites the interns each year during April and May in order to participate in the six week summer internship program. The interns will be paid the stipend of Rs.10,000/- on the successful completion of the program. The candidates should know about the eligibility criteria, required educational documents and instructions, which are mentioned below on how to apply for the internship program. The candidates need to read it carefully and the final selection will be done by the SBP and the selected candidates will get the confirmation letter.
Eligibility Criteria for State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation Summer Internship 2018:
- Candidates will have completed minimum two years out of four years Bachelors Degree Program or have enrolled in Masters degree program in the relevant disciplines as decided by SBP. The Relevant Disciplines are mentioned below:
- Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Information Systems & Technology and Agriculture.
- Candidates will be shortlisted according to CGPA/ percentage and any other criteria as determined by SBP.
- Pakistani/ AJK students studying abroad are also eligible to apply for State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation Summer Internship 2018 program.

- Attested Photocopy of CNIC.
- Attested photocopy of last year/semester transcript.
- Two colored 1*1 Photo size.
- Copy of diploma certificate/experience (if any).
- Local universities or educational institutions (as per Higher Education Commission’s ranking) are invited in April/May every year to attend ‘Six Week Summer Internship Program’.
- · Applications are routed through the relevant universities or educational institutions in response to SBP’s invitation.

Note: Interested students are advised to contact with their universities or institutions’ placement offices’ or Career Department. They need to collect internship application forms from the placement office of their universities, fill them and submit back to the placement office. An example of this process is given below.
