Suzuki Cultus 2017

Suzuki Pakistan introduced the first gen Suzuki Cultus in 2000 and the automaker stopped manufacturing the Suzuki Khyber. The company has replaced the engine with an EFI unit and the same EFI unit was made Euro II compliant in 2012. Suzuki Pakistan sold the same vehicle with minor cosmatic changes and during the tenure, Suzuki offered car with CNG kit and the previous model was remained in production for about 17 years. New Suzuki Cultus 2017 was revealed in two variants like Suzuki Cultus VXR and Suzuki Cultus VXL.

Exterior

The exterior of the new Cultus is different from previous model and now they have introduced the new and latest model of Suzuki Cultus. The length of this vehicle is nine inch longer than the previous one so it becomes more spacious. It looks like middle of the Suzuki Swift and Suzuki WagonR. The front is sleek and low and the new car is completely opposite. It has massive front end grill and overall frontend looks raised and stubbed. The headlights of the vehicle are large and wrap themselves around front corners of the car. There are fog lights under front dual beam crystal headlights. The upper half of front looks similar and bottom half looks like car.

The back of the car is elongated trapezoid brake lights and rear windscreen is slightly narrow with good width. The brake lamps are mounted on the rear side and there is bumper with slot for number plate in the middle of boot lid.

Interior

On the interior side, there is dashboard on middle and audio unit is present in dashboard which also supports Bluetooth for phone call and media audio, USB and AUX. There is CD slot manual A/C controls with fan speed in middle, position knob on the left side and temperature knob on the right side. The interior parts and panels have been put together on the interior side.

There are cup holders and storage places in cabin and the rear door panels have the holders for cups. There are four speakers in the car, in which two are at the front and two are in back door panels. There is 12 V output under A/C control and there is small tray in front of gear lever. You can get another storage place and cup holders in all four doors. The boot has the storage space of 254 liter. In this latest model of Cultus, the lever is placed slightly upwards to dashboard and it is raised to an angle. The lever base is started from the end of the driver seat and it is pointed at the angle towards the driver. You do not need to move your hand enough from steering wheel to the gear lever during the driving and changing the lever.

Performance

The performance of the vehicle is good if it is compared with the previous one. The 2017 Suzuki Cultushas 35 liter fuel tank and the car can return 13 to 14 kilometers in one liter in the city. The A/c is fitted in this model, which is better than the previous one and provides enough air to the back seats too. The chilling is not upto the expectations as the modern cars of the same capacity have.

You get ventilated disks in the front side and drums in the rear side. It has the factory fitted alloy wheels and tires and there was enough grip and car kicked in its ABS unit under extreme wheel lock conditions. The brakes and suspensions are good to stop the car without engaging ABS.
