Ufone has finally announced its 3G packages for both prepaid and postpaid customers while last night, it commercially launched its 3G services.

Ufone has provided lot of choices to its subscribers from where they can use according to their data needs and budgets. The minimum charges of Ufone 3G packages start from Rs. 5/ half day at 256kpbs to the maximum limit of 3Mbps data speeds for Rs. 1500 with 3GB is the monthly data limit.

These 3G packages are available from now on to the customers of Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi who wants to use 3G services.

A default provision on 3G has already been done to all the 3G handsets on Ufone network. By dialing *7700#, a new 3G handset on network can be provisioned.

Following is the detail of these packages.

Ufone 3G Packages (Prepaid)

For prepaid customers, there are 17 Ufone 3G packages available in total. PayG 3G Package will be the default 3G package on all prepaid customers.

PAYG 3G Package (Default Prepaid 3G Package)

PAYG comes without any data bundles and this package is Ufone 3G package for pay as you use plan. Following are the details of PAYG 3G package.

• 1^st MB for Rs. 20
• Next 19MBs will be free of cost
• Rs. 20/MB will be the rate of 20^th MB
• Again, 21^st till 40^th MB will be free
• Rs. 20/MB will be the fee of 40^th MB
• Till the end of the day, this cycle of 20MBs will remain continue

Terms for PAYG Ufone 3G Package:

• 1Mbps is the speed for first 20MBs while for rest of the day; it will be throttled to 512kbps.
• According to the current scenario, volume accumulator will reset at 00:00 hrs every day.

Ufone Basic 3G Package (Up to 256 Kbps)

You can choose six different bundles of Basic Ufone 3G bucket while it comes with 256Kbps. It includes half day, daily, weekly bundles and goes up to monthly 3G packages with data limit of 1GB, 1.5GB and 3GB.

Ufone Super 3G Package (512 Kbps)

Ufone Super 3G package comes with weekly and monthly bundles along the speed of 512Kbps. Their details are shown below.

Terms & Conditions (Ufone 3G Packages Prepaid):

• You can check the remaining balance by dialing *706#.
• Average speed depends of multiple factors including network load, website visited and handset used.
• 1:00 Am to 9:00 Pm is the timing of Half day bucket.
• The charging will be done at 20/MB after the consumption of bucket volume. However next 19MBs will be free after 1^st MB and practically the user will pay Rs. 20/20MB.
• The speed of PAYG tariff will be 1mbps for first 20MBs while it will be reduced to 512kbps for rest of the day.
• A customer can subscribe different buckets at one time. The bucket which has higher throughput and lesser validity will be given preference in this case.
• SMS UNSUB to 8804 to unsubscribe daily bucket if you want as it is auto renewal.
• You can SMS UNSUB to 7810 to unsubscribe half day bucket as it is also auto-renewal.
• On monthly and weekly buckets, multiple subscriptions are allowed.
• To deactivate 3G on your connection, dial *7701#.

Ufone 3G Packages (Postpaid)

Various speeds and configurations are also present in Ufone 3G packages for postpaid customers. With Ufone 3G postpaid package, the maximum speed is 3Mbps with charges of Rs. 1200/month and monthly limit of 3GB.

Basic PAYG is Rs 20 for 1^st MB and then next 19MBs will be free of cost, similar to PAYG of prepaid customers.

PAYG 3G Package (Postpaid)

• Customers will be charged for Rs. 20 for 1^st MB and the other 19MBs will be free and then the 21^st MB will be charged again for Rs. 20 and next 19MBs will be free and the cycle goes on for whole day.
• 1Mbps is the throughput for first 20MBs of the day and then it would be reduced to 512Kbps for rest of the day.
• According to current scenario, volume accumulator will reset at 00:00 hrs every day.

Super 3G Package – Postpaid (Up to 512 Kbps)
